The communist government in China could have a hefty sum to pay if the White House gets its way.
In recent weeks, it has been increasingly clear that not only did the novel Coronavirus originate in Wuhan, China, but that its release was due to negligence at best.
China has been caught disappearing their own doctors who report on aspects of the virus that the Chinese government wants to keep under wraps. There have been many reports of Chinese citizens being locked into their homes using welded cages, and many of them dying in their homes. There have also been reports of infected Chinese citizens being cremated alive.
The offenses don’t end there. China has given false numbers on its fight against COVID-19. They have claimed that they have beaten the disease. Perhaps worst of all, the communist Chinese government has given the world bad information about how to slow the spread and fight the virus. When all is said and done, Beijing may owe massive reparations not only to the United States but to the entire world.
This week, President Donald Trump has promised to seek substantial damages from the Chinese government over their responsibility for the global pandemic. During his daily Coronavirus press briefing in the Rose Garden, he told reporters, “We haven’t determined the final number, but it’s very substantial. If you look at the world, I mean, this is worldwide damage. This is damage to the U.S., but this is damage to the entire world.”
This comment was a response to a question concerning the fact that Germany has sent China a bill for $165 billion for Coronavirus related damages.
Trump continued, saying, “We can do something much easier than that. We have ways of doing things. Germany is looking at things, and we are looking at things. We are talking about a lot more money than Germany is talking about.”
President Trump referred to the possibility of withholding billions of dollars in debt, held in the form of bonds by China.
Trump promised to complete the investigation into the origin of the virus, targeting the virology laboratory in Wuhan, commenting, “We are doing serious investigations, as you know. We are not happy with China, because we believe it could have been stopped at the source, and it wouldn’t have spread all over the world. We’ll let you know at the appropriate time.”
Trump has referred to China’s culpability many times without referring to the country directly. Most pointedly, when discussing the disease he has referred to an “invisible enemy.” Ostensibly, he’s talking about the disease itself. But when he refers to China’s responsibility using the term “invisible enemy,” it is likely that he is referencing the fact that Google and Facebook now have offices in China, have expressed allegiance with China, and that these companies have become a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party — which has been largely silent on China’s role in the pandemic itself.
When all is said and done, it could be that the invisible enemy Trump is talking about is an alliance between Communist China, the DNC, and Silicon Valley tech companies. If this is true, it’s no wonder that the Democrats are so eager to insist that claiming the virus came from China is racist, and why social media companies are aggressively silencing anyone who discusses the virus.
