Fed Chair Jay Powell has released a statement claiming that the economy will never go back to normal until Americans feel safe. Based on the determination of the Left to destroy the middle class and remove Trump, that could mean never.
Powell told the House Financial Services Committee, “We have entered a new phase and have done so sooner than expected. While this bounce-back in economic activity is welcome, it also presents new challenges—notably, the need to keep the virus in check.”
While his comments were restricted to the effect of the virus on the economy, we assert that the pandemic is being used as part of a one-two punch to the financial viability of our people.
He went on to say, “[A] full recovery is unlikely until people are confident that it is safe to reengage in a broad range of activities.”
Much of the fear that Americans are currently feeling is manufactured. We can say this with a reasonable amount of certainty based on the simple fact that the recent pandemic and the riots resulting (ostensibly) from the death of George Floyd have impacted the economy more than anything else.
We have been frightened away from our jobs by mainstream reporting on the Coronavirus: a virus that originated in China from a location with a bio-weapons laboratory. Americans in many locations have been thrown into war zones as a result of the riots which the left-wing media and Democrats have given their blessing to.
While the media refuses to report on much of it, actual race wars have broken out in the streets of several major cities. There have been summary executions of white people, including children, by so-called Black Lives Matter activists. Despite the fact that CNN refuses to tell you these things, Americans are aware of them, and they are afraid to go about their business per usual.
The undeniable conclusion is that this is the work of progressive politicians. With the help of never-Trump Republicans who have failed to do anything during these parallel crises, America has been thrown into chaos- just in time to have a major effect on elections.
In our fear, and in our obedience to powers which have no right to restrict our activities, many of us have shown that we have forgotten the meaning of the word “liberty.” Liberty means the freedom to do what is necessary despite fear. It does not mean safety from danger. It does not mean that any government can protect us from a virus or even from our neighbors. The true definition of Liberty recognizes that we are responsible for our own safety.
Indeed, we have given away a little liberty for a little safety- and our reward will be neither.
