Black Lives Matter (BLM) has been dropped from charity platform AmazonSmile, after failing to disclose to Amazon where their $60 million worth of donations has disappeared to.
Recently, BLM has come under close scrutiny over financial transparency – or rather, lack thereof – and will not have access to funds raised on AmazonSmile “until they’re back in compliance,” according to a spokesperson who made a statement to the New York Post.
AmazonSmile didn’t disclose how much money BLM had actually raised on the platform, but the cut-off comes after charity auditors raised concerns about the management of BLM’s donations after the group were reluctant to release their financial records and no one seemed to be able to say exactly who was handling the money.
Patrisse Cullors, the BLM co-founder and “trained Marxist,” who resigned in May, recently said that millions that were donated were the result of “white corporation guilt.”
“People have to know we didn’t go out and solicit the money,” Cullors said. “This is money that came from white guilt, white corporation guilt, and they just poured money in.’
California and Washington have issued legal threats to BLM for failing to report where the money that was raised in 2020 went.
The group took close to $65 million from the charity, Thousand Currents, but as yet, hasn’t disclosed what happened to the money, according to documents that were filed with the California Attorney General.
Democratic lawyer Marc Elias, longtime lawyer of Hillary Clinton, has taken a key role in the charity, Black Lives Matter filings revealed.
Elias was the person who funded the bogus Steele Dossier while serving in Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, and he now appears to be representing the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, through Elias Law Group, something Elias has recently formed.
BLM’s short-year 2020 Form 990, states that it’s books are now in the possession of the Elias Group and the group lists Elias’ firm as one of its addresses.
Another longtime Clinton ally, Minyon Moore, is also listed as part of BLM’s board of directors in the filings. Although it doesn’t state when the relationship with Moore and Elias began.
Scott Walter, President of the Capital Research Center, a conservative investigative nonprofit group, told the Washington Examiner.
“The latest filing’s addition of partisan lawyer Marc Elias confirms the group is more political than charitable,” adding, “But it also suggests that finally some left-wing heavyweights, have begun to deal with the embarrassing mess made by a major activist group the institutional Left has failed to, pardon the term, police.”
BLM filings with New Mexico also listed Minyon Moore as a “Board Member” for BLM, and Moore listed as a “Board Member” in the California filings too.
Elias is listed as a “Governor” in a filing sent to the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, for Hillary Clinton’s PAC, Onward Together. The PAC was incorporated by Elias in April 2017. In fiscal years 2017, 2018 and 2019, Moore is listed as “Director/President” at Onward Together.
Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, a conservative legal foundation, told the Washington Examiner:
“There seems to be very little daylight between the Democratic Party and Black Lives Matter,” adding, “An avowedly Marxist organization is now being represented by the most prominent Democratic Party lawyer in the country. … Does that say more about BLM or more about the party operatives that are now seemingly running the show there?”
Nearly $1 billion has been already donated or promised to BLM, despite the fact that during 2020, the group burned their way around America at a cost of between $1 – $2 billion in damages, “protests” caused the injuries of 2,035 police officers, the deaths of 25 people.

MCCA members say they experienced 8,700 total protest events during that roughly two-month period. One city, unidentified but likely Portland, reported 1,100 protest events during that period. The average number of protest events in a single jurisdiction was 128.
Ten companies have either donated, or pledged around $378 million. They include Adidas, YouTube, Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Verizon, Facebook, Cisco, Disney, Niantic and doesn’t include the $250 million pledged by the NFL.
