Ever wondered what the last few warning lights would be before the poop hits the fan big time? One possibility would be the IRS suddenly buying up ammunition.
Yes, ammunition.
According to Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, the Internal Revenue Service spent around $700,000 on ammunition between the months of March and June and while agents working in the Criminal Investigation (CI) department carry weapons and ammo, this is the first time such a large amount has been purchased at one time.
In previous years, according to USAspending.gov, the IRS’ highest purchase ever, was $92,263. Forbes reported in 2019, that the IRS has been purchasing ammunition for several years
The IRS had “4,487 guns and 5,062,006 rounds of ammunition in its weapons inventory,” including “fully automatic … machine guns.”
Meanwhile, the government and Democrats constantly demonize the Second Amendment and are continuously attempting to legislate gun control laws – while making sure their agencies are heavily armed – $700,000 buys a lot of bullets.
According to Forbes, IRS agents rarely discharge their firearms, while the IRS website claims that CI “is comprised of nearly 3,500 employees worldwide.”
Gaetz accused the Democrats and the Biden administration of wanting to deprive Americans of ammunition.
“There is concern that this is part of a broader effort to have any entity in the federal government buy up ammo to reduce the amount of ammunition that is in supply, while at the same time, making it harder to produce ammo,” Gaetz said.
The Biden administration has also recently cut off the United States Army’s Lake City ammunition plant in Missouri, who are now unable to sell M855 and SS109 ammo. This could be a plan to bypass the Second Amendment and simply not facilitate making anymore ammunition for the American public.
“How would that affect the civilian supply of .223 and 5.56 ammunition? We understand that as much as 30% of the commercial market’s sales volume of .223/5.56 is produced by Lake City,” reports The Truth About Guns.
“The motivation here is obvious. The Biden administration is attempting to further spike the price of ammunition, squeezing the owners of America’s favorite rifles … the scary black ones that the president assures us are only good for killing people and taking down Kevlar vest-wearing deer.”
For those who do not appreciate their Second Amendment rights and do not see a need for it today, the behavior of the Biden administration is exactly why the Second Amendment exists in the first place – unarmed people do not have a chance against a tyrannical government.
There are many examples around the world, of “civilized” western countries, who have disarmed their populations and that became a huge point of contention during the covid pandemic when governments, including local, worked as hard as they could to oppress its citizens.
Well, if the shit is going to hit the fan, then let it be now , so we can take our country back.
