UN Article From 2008 Says That World Hunger Is Good To Motivate People To Work

Ever wonder why for decades now, we as the citizens of the world are unable to fight world hunger, despite the millions of tons of wasted food going into landfills? The reason is because those at the very top, want it that way and because of that reason, a good portion of the world is doomed to starvation, hard manual labor and slavery.

Recently, an article originally published in 2008 by the United Nations via its website, resurfaced and started to go viral – the article in question went over all the good benefits of world hunger – the biggest benefit being a hungry, cheap, motivated workforce.

Within 24 hours, the article disappeared from the UN website, but of course, the internet is forever and the article in part is still making the rounds.

The article, written by retired University of Hawaii professor of political science, George Kent, told the reader how the elite class has zero motivation to end world hunger – a well-nourished population will not be motivated to work as cheap labor, doing some of the most physically demanding jobs.

Although the article was published in 2008, it went unnoticed until now and after it was discovered and started to go viral on Twitter, the UN took it down and attempted to pretend that the article was nothing more than some sick attempt at satire.

The writer, Kent, however said that the article was never intended to be taken as satire.

“I did not hope that it would be read as praise for hunger. My main point was and still is that some people benefit from the existence of hunger in the world. That helps to explain why hunger is so persistent in many places,” he said.

The article also talked about why world hunger is fundamental for keeping the world economy ticking over.

Kent said that hungry people are the most productive people, especially where there is a need for manual labor. He added: “For those who depend on the availability of cheap labor, hunger is the foundation of their wealth … Much of the hunger literature talks about how it is important to assure that people are well fed so that they can be more productive.”

According to Kent, the non-government organization Free the Slaves, estimated in 2008 that there were at least 27 million people in the world who could be described as slaves.

Fast forward to 2022 and Free the Slaves estimates there are upwards of 40 million people who are being forced to work for “traffickers” – a business that garners around $150 billion per year.

Industries that depend heavily on manual labor such as farming, logging and mining have nearly 50 percent of that number working under forced conditions and includes service industries like maids, gardeners and janitors.

A vast number of those in the bonds of slavery, are also forced into sex slavery and child labor – child labor making up at least 25 percent of the world’s slaves.

The UN recently published its 2022 Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction, and the picture that it paints is not a good one.

The UN has warned that the world is on the verge of collapse and it probably goes without saying, that the real reason the world is on the verge of collapse due to economies crumbling and supply chains drying up – is the global elites once again playing God with all our lives – we are only slaves to them, remember.
