Famed Canadian environmentalist, David Suzuki, made a strange and threatening statement in an interview last week.
Dubbed the “eco-warrior,” Suzuki has been a science broadcaster and activist for many years now with a Ph.D. in zoology.
His concern with reversing global “climate change” dates back to when he co-founded the David Suzuki Foundation in 1990.
The goal of the organization was to find a better balance between people and the natural world, with more sustainable ideas becoming the norm.
They are involved in clean energy initiatives, ocean conservation, sustainable fishing and preventing climate change.
So Suzuki’s intentions are a benefit to the environment as a whole, but he did say something dangerous recently.
Pipelines Will Be “Blown Up”
When asked about the environment by reporters at a rally in Vancouver called the Extinction Rebellion protest, Suzuki stated that, “we are in deep-doo doo, this is what we’ve come to. The next stage after this, there are going to be pipelines blown up, if our leaders don’t pay attention to what’s going on.”
He later clarified to another news outlet that he clearly doesn’t support blowing up any pipelines.
So why did he say something so threatening and what basically amounts to domestic terror?
It could be just something Suzuki said in the moment to drive home the seriousness of his point on climate change that’s been getting increasingly worse over the past 40 years.
Other Speakers at the Event
Another speaker at the event, David Goodeve, stated that the NDP (New Democratic Party) of Canada needs to declare a climate emergency, act on those policies, and make some real changes in order to prevent further damage that isn’t reversible.
He thinks that the government needs not to invest in any more fossil fuel infrastructure.
The Extinction Rebellion
The Extinction Rebellion is an environmental activist group that is global and has been around for about three years, founded by eight members in the United Kingdom.
They are sometimes referred to as “XR.”
By demonstrating non-violent civil disobedience, they support biodiversity loss and preventing ecological collapse through their actions and rallies.
Many people who don’t believe in the extremes of climate change, or the fact that it’s a problem at all, look at this organization as a form of environmental fanaticism, with their ideas being extremist and potentially dangerous.
That goes back to what eco-warrior David Suzuki was saying about blowing up pipelines.
Even if he didn’t mean it literally, it’s a scary thing to say on an already contentious topic that has different groups on edge.
Hopefully, going forward, Suzuki will be more careful with his choice of words.
The radicals will call on BLM and Antifa, using George Soros money to do exactly that, fracture the natural resources and destroy them.

Some things never change. The same people who were spiking trees back in the 60’s and 70’s are still promoting violence through their words. Climate is an earth system that is never static, just like continental drift. Ocean systems and currents play a role in climate change also. My point is these people use the aspect of changing weather, which most people are familiar with to convince us that they know more about climate change than the rest of us, they do not.
